May 16, 2023Fire crews' life-saving cutting tools stolen from Brewood station
Life-saving tools and equipment used by firefighters at the scene of crashes has been stolen after a break-in at a fire station.
Several hundred pounds' worth of specialist cutting equipment was reported stolen from a fire engine at Brewood Station on Bargate Lane in south Staffordshire shortly after 04:00 GMT on Monday.
The stolen items include a Milwaukee tool bag containing a number of saws, an angle grinder, an impact driver, a socket set and a yellow hydraulic hand pump.
Staffordshire Police has appealed for information, and those with CCTV, doorbell and dashcam footage potentially relevant to the inquiry, to contact the force on 101. People can also contact Crimestoppers if they wish to remain anonymous.
