Haimer USA will exhibit its HAIMER MILL solid-carbide end mills and the modular Duo-λock (Duo-Lock) system with new cutting tool geometries for multiple materials, clamping options for milling and turning devices, and accessories, at IMTS 2022.

The new Duo-Lock is a modular interface of the latest generation for carbide tool heads. It combines the high accuracy in runout and length presetting with maximum stability based on a patented double-cone surface, which maintains high stiffness and accuracy because it has a third, rear-contact area for challenging milling applications. Additionally, Duo-Lock carbide blanks and collets are suited for clamping Duo-Lock tools in all established ER collet chucks, driven units, and spindles with ER interfaces.
